In the late 80's, the "Indian film syndrome" caught up with my neighbourhood like many Lagos neighbourhoods way back then . There was an indian song playing in any household that owned a VCR. It was 1988 and it my first encounter with the man I knew then as "Mard". Amitabh Bachchan entered my house and did not leave for many years. I saw most of the indian films with Amitabh that i could lay my hands on. After each film kids would run into the street, yelling  from ened to end trying to sound like this great actor.                                                                                                                                     Fast forwad, 2006 and the old man was still going strong. Black caught my attention and I couldn't resist watching the movie over again as the actor was at his best.

2013 and he is starring along side with Leonardo DiCaprio.
